One of the research lines focuses on the development of antennas for lunar exploration. We have the capability for the design and manufacturing of prototypes. We have extensive experience in antenna measurement both in the far field, within the Anechoic Chamber, and with the XYZ Scanner of the Signal Theory and Communications Group, which our laboratory is part of.

We have also designed and manufactured a test cap for antenna measurement in a thermal vacuum chamber (more details here).

In the project ‘Antennas for Underground Communications’, we developed an antenna for cave-exploring rovers. We designed a portable antenna measurement system capable of emulating the movement of a rover and validating the antenna’s performance in lava caves analogous to lunar caves
